KFC Hong Kong

Last Day in HK and we were able to find a fast food store for our lunch and it was KFC. I was excited to try out their food items that weren't available in our local KFC in the Philippines.

As usual, I noticed that fast food in KFC is definitely cheaper than local restaurants in HK.

Hmm, which item to try, hahaha..

Flava Crava Chicken Meal $HK 29.8
This meal included their Zinger burger, flava crava chicken drumstick and some criss cut fries with a regular drink. The chicken was Okay I guess, it kinda had spicy barbecue taste.

Chicken Burger Combo with Bacon Meal $HK 29.8

Meal included chicken burger with bacon, criss cut fries and regular drink. She said it didn't taste that good for a chicken burger.

I guess HK nationals aren't really fond of eating at KFC and it was Lunchtime. LOL

Last Thoughts:

 I guess KFC in Hong Kong is not really popular, nonetheles eating KFC in a different country was a pleasant experience being able to sample KFC products that are not available locally.

Popeyes Fried Chicken at Hong Kong Airport

After 5 days of sightseeing and touring Hong Kong, It was time to go back home. We had to wait a few hours in the airport before our flight back to Manila and we had already planned what final food trip we will be having here in Hong Kong. Popeyes, the only one in Hong Kong that can be found and it was in their airport. I missed Popeyes so much, I really loved their fried chicken and buttermilk biscuits! I recall eating there during my stay in Riyadh. As you all know Popeyes also had their franchise here in the Philippines, but for some reason that I don’t know they closed.

The meal included 3 pcs of chicken, buttermilk biscuit, Cajun fries and big softdrink. Best fried chicken and biscuits ever!

Last Thoughts:
The fried chicken and buttermilk biscuits were really good, definitely one of my favorite fast food restaurants. I hope that one day they will reopen here in the Philippines again.

Mc Donald's Hong Kong

Look what fast food restaurant we found while walking the streets of tsim shat sui, Hong Kong. Since we were already tired from all the walking and sightseeing and it was already in the afternoon, we decided to have our snack here at Mc Donald’s.

Some common food in Mc Donald's like Big Mac, Double Cheeseburger, Quarter Pounder

Instead of ordering the usual Big Mac or quarter pounder, we decided then to order meals that weren’t available in the Philippines. I had the Grilled chicken burger while my sister had the Big N’ Tasty.

The Grilled Chicken burger was okay I guess, it is said to be a healthier choice than their other burgers since its grilled but still when did eating at Mc Donald’s became healthy? Nonetheless it’s nice to have something in their menu for people who are health conscious.

I should have ordered the Big N’ Tasty, It was like a quarter pounder yet with a different sauce. It had almost the same ingredients with the quarter pounder; the difference only was the crispy lettuce and smokey sauce. Hope that this burger will be available in the Philippines so that I could try it.

Last Thoughts:
Aside from the food items that we tried that aren’t available in the Philippines, there’s really nothing more to add that Mc Donald’s HK doesn’t have in any Mc Donald’s in the world. Mc Donald’s will and always be the same fast food restaurant we came to grow and love. LOL

Chef Mickey Buffet Hong Kong

What better way to have dinner at Christmas in the most happiest place in the world, The Playboy Ma... ahem, I mean Disneyland! After watching the beautiful fireworks display at Disneyland we went back to Disney's Hollywood Hotel. We then decided to eat at Chef Mickey.

Buffet prices, 2nd round Dinner buffet was $HK 458 since we came around 9pm.

I really love how the restaurant was filled with Disney character themes. I especially love the mickey shaped head in the ceiling and chairs.

Last Thoughts:


The price was a little expensive but worth it. The staff were very friendly and the interior decoration of the restaurant was beautiful, It was truly a memorable experience eating at a Disney themed buffet restaurant.
