Dinner Buffet at Yakimix Greenbelt

Me and my sister have heard about yakimix buffet several times and read about it on other blogs and finally we had a reason to dine in their buffet style restaurant.  We decided to celebrate our birthday dinner here at yakimix greenbelt.  Hearing and reading that yakimx has a reputation wherein it is very difficult to get a table if you arrive late, we arrived early around quarter to 6pm and was able to get good seats.

By now many people know that yakimx is a buffet restaurant that serves different combinations of Japanese, Cantonese and Korean cuisine.

Inside of yakimix greenbelt, ambience and interior were nice

Each table had a smokeless grill

I was taking some pictures of the buffet table spread, when the staff told me that it was against their restaurant policy to take pictures. Too bad, I was only able to get some few pictures; the salad and dessert station.

Blue Lemonade and Red Iced Tea P75
The drinks were really sweet. It was refillable and you can even have it changed to other drinks.

It was time to grill; get ready to be grilled uncooked protein!

Me trying to grill some food

Some sushi

Some cooked food that I ate; yang chow fried rice and some shrimp tempura

Buffet Price:
Mon-Fri Lunch: P499
Mon-Fri Dinner, Weekend ALL DAY: 599
Children below 4ft: P380

 Last Thoughts:
The food was good and had plenty variety of dishes. Dessert was not that special since their cakes came from red ribbon while their ice cream was from Selecta. The good thing for me about yakimix was the grilling part where you can cook lots of different meat dishes (perfect for getting protein, LOL).  Nice place to celebrate with families and friends or even having a date with that special someone.

KFC Hong Kong

Last Day in HK and we were able to find a fast food store for our lunch and it was KFC. I was excited to try out their food items that weren't available in our local KFC in the Philippines.

As usual, I noticed that fast food in KFC is definitely cheaper than local restaurants in HK.

Hmm, which item to try, hahaha..

Other KFC food items

KFC staff, I guess there were only 3 of them, not like in the Philippines

Flava Crava Chicken Meal $HK 29.8
This meal included their Zinger burger, flava crava chicken drumstick and some criss cut fries with a regular drink. The chicken was Okay I guess, it kinda had spicy barbecue taste.

Chicken Burger Combo with Bacon Meal $HK 29.8
Meal included chicken burger with bacon, criss cut fries and regular drink. She said it didn't taste that good for a chicken burger.

I guess HK nationals aren't really fond of eating at KFC and it was Lunchtime. LOL

Hot Shots
Nothing like a side dish of spicy boneless small cut pieces of chicken and gravy.

Last Thoughts:

I guess KFC in Hong Kong is not really popular, nonetheles eating KFC in a different country was a pleasant experience being able to sample KFC products that are not available locally.
