Late Dinner at Delicious Kitchen

Before dinner, we went first to “The One” mall that was located at the corner of Nathan Road near miramar shopping center and in front of park lane shoppers boulevard to do some window shopping. The Mall was also very tall like the iSquare and K11 mall that we have been too. It was 29 storeys high and have more than 200 shops.
Every mall seemed to have their Christmas decoration including their giant Christmas tree.
After we got tired of walking around this big mall, we know tried to search for a place to eat for our dinner unfortunately all restaurants in the mall was full of people being the Christmas holidays and all so we decided to find a restaurant outside.
People strolling outside in the cold weather
Good thing that before we went to Hong Kong, I read on other food blogs that there is this place where Filipino tourists would usually go and eat because of their delicious Hong Kong cuisine. The favorite and popular restaurant was Delicious Kitchen and the only branch then was at Causeway Bay but now they also have one here at Tsim Sha Tsui. The place wasn’t that hard to find, as long as you have a map.

People enjoying dinner
Free hot tea, Chopsticks, and some preserved salted mustard greens.
We weren’t really that hungry so we just ordered three dishes
Pork rib with veggie rice HK$38
This was the dish that I ordered; they say that this is their no. 1 specialty so I ordered it. It had a large piece of fried pork chop top on a bowl of hot rice with bok choy (pechay in tagalog). The pork chop was awesome, it had a different flavor. It was sweet unlike other pork chops that are salty and oily. This was cooked perfectly and was super tender and juicy. Best pork chop I had.
Chicken in wine sauce HK$55
I was kind of risky in ordering this dish because I wanted to try how it tasted. The chicken dish was cold and the wine was too strong for me (maybe it would taste better to those who love beer/wine). Every bite of the chicken, you can really taste the wine giving it an unusual taste.
Won Ton in soup HK$40
The weather was cold so having a soup dish would be a great idea. The Won Ton was scrumptious, we didn’t know what the filling was but it tasted like salted ham. good dumplings in soup dish.
Final Thoughts
The food was certainly delicious; they have a very large array of dishes and set meals in their menu that you can try at an affordable price.
